One night in Memphis has turned into a long Chicago run for "Million Dollar Quartet." It's all based on an actual moment in 1956 when Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins, Elvis Presley and Johnny Cash showed up at Sam Phillips' Sun Studios for a jam session. The show contains two dozen iconic rock 'n' roll numbers performed by a fresh, young cast of actor-musicians, including Lance Lipinsky as a perky Lewis, Sean Sullivan as the melancholic, restless Cash and David Lago's earnest Elvis. Gabe Bowling, as Perkins, projects a bitterness that fills the room. The current quartet surely knows how to rock the Apollo Theater. And pack the Apollo Theater; this show is a box office smash.
