Age: 67
Experience: 13 years as a big league second baseman, eight with the Orioles, including four World Series appearances. Record of 1,148-888 in 14 seasons as a manager. Took the Orioles to back-to-back playoffs in 1996-97.
Pluses: Great baseball theorist who is the last manager to win in Baltimore. He's a senior adviser with the Washington Nationals, so he wouldn't have to go far.
Minuses: Works best with veteran teams. Has reportedly buried the hatchet with club owner Peter Angelos, but could they ever work together again?
