Skinny: After hitting .304 this week in Norfolk, Avery made his way back up to the big leagues. In his first game with the Orioles since late May, the outfielder went 1-for-4 with a strikeout and a stolen base batting out of the No. 2 hole. The 22-year-old was called up when Nick Johnson went on the DL with a strained right wrist on Thursday.
